Completed Specialist Registrar Training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in the United Kingdom.
Undertook a one-year Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery across the UK, USA, Germany, and The Netherlands.
Completed a one-year fellowship in Advanced Rhinology conducted by the Royal College of Surgeons of England

LEADERSHIP ROLES

Served as Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and the Facial Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore, from 2019 to 2024.
Established and led the Facial Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Service from its inception in 2011 until 2024.

Delivered over 175 national and international presentations at international conferences, courses, workshops, symposia, and live surgery courses worldwide.

EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

Organized and conducted 36 courses and conferences over the years.
Conducted the annual course ’11 Days of Facial Plastic Surgery’ for more than a decade, training over 500 surgeons globally in Advanced Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation Surgery, and Facial Fracture Repair and Soft Tissue Repair.
Organized the Pan Asia Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery's 11th International Conference.
Chaired the Facial Plastic Surgery Stream of the ASEAN ORL-HNS Annual Conference.

Awarded a PhD by the University of Leeds, UK, for discovering the genetic and molecular basis of Pachydermoperiostosis, leading to a first-author publication in the journal Nature Genetics.

Known for his philanthropic efforts, regularly undertaking challenging treks to raise awareness and funds for various charitable causes:
In September 2016, he summited Uhuru Peak, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m), the highest point in Africa.
In September 2017, he completed the Everest Base Camp trek, summiting Everest Base Camp (5380m), Chola Pass (5420m), Gokyo Ri (5350m), and Kala Pathar (5545m) in Nepal, raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
In September 2018, he summited Thorangula Pass (5416m) and completed the Annapurna Circuit 12-day trek, raising funds for Mission Smile, a cleft lip and palate charity.
Passionate about music, Dr. Sandeep enjoys learning to play the guitar in his spare time, finding solace and creativity through music. His love for music and adventure adds a unique dimension to his multifaceted personality.
