Dr. Heather King
Experience
Dr King is a UK trained family doctor who has many years experience in women’s and children’s health. A graduate of the University of Dundee Medical School (2002), Dr King became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) with Merit in 2006. She has worked as a GP for 11 years, initially as a partner within a busy urban medical practice in Scotland for over 7 years. During this time she was a GP trainer for trainee doctors as well as mentoring 4th year medical students from Glasgow University.
Through a developing interest in women’s health Dr. King gained the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Diploma of Child Health in UK (2004) and became a member of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare (2005). Dr King has been a valued member of IMC for over 3 years. As a mother of four children Dr King appreciates women’s and children’s health both as a mother and a doctor.
