Dr. Kym Chew is an Australian-trained general practitioner with over a decade of medical experience across Australia and Singapore. She received her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery with honours from Monash University in 2013, and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. She is known for providing highly personalised and holistic healthcare for her patients, and focuses on building long-term therapeutic relationships with them.
Her practice covers the full breadth of family medicine. She has a particular expertise in women’s health and dermatology (including skin cancer). She holds a National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health from Sexual Health Victoria and is accredited for intrauterine device (progesterone and Copper IUD) and Implanon insertion and removal. She also holds a Certificate in Practical Dermoscopy from the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and routinely treats skin conditions.
Dr. Kym enjoys understanding her patients as people. She is a passionate collector of opals, enjoys golf and hiking, and loves spending time with her cheerful Pomeranian Duke. A fun fact about her – she served as a forensic medical officer at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine in Melbourne, working with police and prosecutors to use her skills for good.
